Q: Could wearing fake jewelry such as silver rings, necklaces can cause allery or headache?
In my case, when I am wearing fake rings, it cause itchiness on my finger. In your case, could wearing fake jewelry such as silver rings, necklaces can cause allery or headache? What you should do to remove that allery?
A: Silver is not fake, by the way. Try taking off the jewelry when washing and thoroughly drying your hands and neck. It is more likely to be an allergy to some cleanser or to a base metal mixed with the silver. If the ring is patterned, going to a jeweler and have it cleaned may also help. “Stuff” that may cause a reaction.can get trapped in the pattern. It doesn’t take a lot of it either.

Q: Can i wear silver necklaces in a chlorine pool, or will it ruin them?
One of the necklaces also has small diamantes on it
A: As a general rule, you should never wear ANY jewlery in a pool. It could discolor the metals, you could lose a gem (how ya gonna find a diamond in a big pool of water?), or lose the piece of jewlery all together. Not to mention, if the pool has a liner instead of tile, the lost jewlery could puncture a whole in the lining and cost hundreds of dollars to patch or replace.
Q: Are silver Pentacles on necklaces sterling silver and stainless steel?
Right now on my necklace, I have a Pentacle that is silver and I wanna know if it is!
A: It depends on how much you paid for it. If it’s cheap from a gift shop or something, then probably not. If it’s from a jewelry store, or was really expensive, then it might be.
I suggest ask someone at a jewelry store to appraise it.

A: Silver tarnishes when it is exposed to air, and it happens even more quickly when silver is exposed to damp and humid air. Silver needs to be kept covered in treated paper, plastic, or cloth.
Silver has many different enemies that you need to try to keep it from coming into contact with. These include rubber, table salt, salad dressing, olives, eggs, vinegar, and fruit juices. Store and serve these items in glass, plastic, and china containers. Also, avoid using your silver pieces to store or show off flowers or fruit. The acid that these items produce as they decay can etch the container and damage it forever.
1)Make a paste with water and baking soda and coat the item with the paste. Rub the item, rinse the mixture off, and then dry well. This should make your silver beautiful and shiny!
2)Put a sheet of aluminum foil in a pan and put 2-3 inches of water on top of it. Add 1 teaspoon of the salt, 1 teaspoon of the baking soda, and bring to a boil. Add the silver that needs to be cleaned and boil for 2-3 minutes, making sure that the pieces are covered by the water. Rinse, buff, and dry!
3)Toothpaste and water works really well. Just take an old soft toothbrush, spread some toothpaste on the necklaces and brush away to make a foam. Leave it on for sometime and then rinse with warm water.
* to the user below…the baking soda and salt undergo a chemical reaction due to the heat from the water….the compund formed due to this will have properties that are completely different from its parent components…..basic chemistry….

Q: What department stores sell silver anchor necklaces?
Soo.. Everyone knows the sailor look is in style right now. I went totally on a shopping spree picking up red, blue, white, striped and loose but stylish clothing. The only problem is, jewelry wise I could not find any anchor necklaces! I’d have to go all the way down to Chicago to pick up some nice ones, but are there any like department stores that sell any. [Ex. Target, Nordstrom, American Eagle] Thanks =]
A: I see them at Macy’s.
If you have a Forever 21 near you, they sell a lot of them.
