Businesses located in the Atlanta Renewal Community can earn up to $1,500 in federal tax credits for each employee who lives and works in the Atlanta Renewal Community (15% of  first $10,000 in paid salary).        

Who’s Eligible?

• Full or part-time Employee

• Workers employed by for-profit organizations for at least 90 days 

• Employees who conduct 85 percent of their work within the Renewal Community

• There is no limit on the number of workers that an employer can hire from the Renewal Community. 

• Credit is available for each year a qualifying person is employed.
